BGC South Coast BC offers safe and supportive spaces for kids and youth across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Through programs and activities at BGC’s Clubs, and summer camp, kids develop a sense of success, a sense of belonging, and positive relationships.
BGC believes that every kid who wants to go to Club or Camp should get to go. Families pay what they can when they register.
BGC’s 10 neighbourhood Clubs provide kids and youth with safe spaces when they aren’t at home or at school
When kids spend time at a BGC Club, what they are really doing is developing the skills that they need to grow into confident, healthy, and happy adults. They are learning things like leadership skills, healthy living habits, how to maintain positive relationships, and gaining an appreciation for lifelong learning. Clubs offer after school drop-in programs, evening programs, and day camps to provide safe spaces for kids while parents and caregivers are at work.

After School Programs for kids and youth in grades 1-12
From September –June, after school drop-in programs begin when school ends, and run until dinner time. During after school drop-in, kids and youth participate in a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, group games, fitness activities, cooking and baking programs, and more! Kids and youth can also get help with their homework, learn about job readiness, and talk to cool mentors. A daily, nutritious snack is provided during after-school drop in.
Evening programs for pre-teens and teens
BGC Clubs offer specialized evening programs for pre-teens (grades 5-7) and and teens (grades 8-12) during the school year. During pre-teen and teen programming, kids and youth can hang out with friends, participate in their hobbies, and get support from our trained staff and mentors. Pre-teen and teen nights include dinner each night, social activities, skill building, career exploration, academic support, and mental health and wellness support.

School break day camps for kids and youth in grades 1-7
BGC day camps run during Pro-D days, and school breaks like spring break, winter break, and summer break from 8:30am-6pm.
At BGC day camps, kids and youth choose to participate in a wide range of activities, including group games, creative arts, STEM activities, cooking and baking, physical activity, and outdoor play.
