DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for non-licensed occupations in healthcare? \n\n\n\n\n\nOur ITHP bridging program provides internationally educated professionals with Canadian-specific education and skills required to gain employment and hands-on support to ensure their success. \n\n\n\n\n\nThree Specialized Program Streams: \n\n\n\n\n\nLong-Term Care and Ethics in Healthcare\nHealth Research/Data Analytics in Healthcare/ Health Informatics\nHealth Administration\n\n\n\n\n\nCareer Opportunities \n• Case manager\n• Clinical administrator\n• Clinical research associate\n• Health services coordinator\n• Health services scheduling coordinator • Hospital administrator\n• Medical associate\n• Patient services representative\n• Public health specialist\n• Research assistant/associate \n\n\n\n\nWhat Will You Obtain? \n\nEmployment supports\nEmployer connections\nProfessional Development Award\n(PDA) or certificate\nWork placement opportunities\nAdmission Requirements\n\n\nProof of post-secondary degree and a minimum of one-year work experience in the healthcare sector OR\nA post-secondary diploma and\na minimum of two years work experience in the healthcare sector\nCanadian citizen/permanent resident/convention refugee/ refugee claimant\nDemonstrate English language proficiency\n\nDuring the session you will meet the ITHP team and Academic Advisor. You will learn more about the courses\, placement and employment options\, enrollment process and financial assistance available to you. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
