These are practical tools\, designed to help  immigrants navigate in their search for the first rental home in Canada. There is no cost for this service. \nWe invite your clients to join us for a free webinar to explore these opportunities\, here is the registration link. \nBelow please see a short description of the Housing tools to give you an idea of what to expect. \nYour clients will learn the benefits of each housing solution tool\, the nuances on how to choose the right solution\, and get their questions answered. \n1) RentalsForNewcomers.com (Self-guided solution) \nNewcomers can browse listings in different cities from landlords who value immigrants as tenants.  \nHow it works: Create a free account and member profile\, start the search and connect with landlords  independently. \n2) Work with a real estate agent to find your first rental  (Guided solution) \nCurrently available for those landing in Ontario – more provinces will be added before the end of the year. \nHow it works: Register on the PrepareForCanada platform\, and a real estate agent in the city (Ontario only at this point) where you wish to rent will respond to your inquiry. \n3) Room Sharing for newcomers \nAnother housing solution for newcomers: home-sharing\, or rooms for newcomers. \nHow it works: Create your free account and member profile\, and connect with a pool of like-minded hosts who have bedrooms for rent and choose the right fit for you. \nUnlike general information widely available online\, these are practical solutions helping newcomers to navigate in their rental home search and secure their first place.
