SUMMARY:Immigrant Women Entrepreneurs MeetUp Ottawa
DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to network with fellow women and non-binary immigrant entrepreneurs in a casual\, informal environment. Come as you are! \n\n\nBeing a newcomer to a country is probably one of the toughest decisions one has to face. It is filled with good\, bad and uglies. When you also add being an entrepreneur\, it is a rollercoaster ride that can feel lonely at times. \nOnly another woman of color\, only another immigrant\, only another person with an accent who has walked on these shoes will get what is like to leave our countries\, start from zero and build a business. Yet\, we are so busy with our businesses that we may not make the time to connect to those people who understand us the most in our business journey. \nThis meetup is an informal gathering of immigrant women and non-binary business owners to share our struggles\, challenges and successes. The circle is a safe space where we connect with a group of like-minded folks to chat\, laugh and dream with! \nThis is the type of networking event where it feels like HOME! \nLight nibbles will be offered – and better yet\, why don’t you bring something to share as well? 🙂 \nAGENDA: \n6:00 pm – Open networking \n6:45 pm – Hear the inspiring stories of three fellow immigrant entrepreneurs \n7:45-8:30 pm – Open networking \nLocation: \nBayview Yards \n7 Bayview Station Rd \nOttawa\, ON K1Y 2C5 \n(free parking available to the side of the building. Street parking as well)
