The Ideal Continuity of Manpower Development
Gaps and opportunities in the continuity of labor market development services and employment products and services in Quebec affect employment service providers, employers and job seekers Anglophones. We will work together to develop strategies for a seamless transition to an ideal of continuity of workforce development products and services and a framework for an integrated approach to workforce.

Discussion on Labor Market Information
CEDEC research also identifies the need for firm and constantly accessible data on the English-speaking workforce in Quebec. In response to this need, the Labor Market Information Network (LMI) set up by CEDEC in March 2017 is comprised of business leaders, researchers, LMI specialists and community groups. Together, we will develop a research plan to address the identified LMI gaps. Better information on the labor market, once analyzed and modeled, will influence policies, programs and service delivery to support an innovative and growing Canadian economy.
* Dinner will be provided.
