Are you interested in working in Toronto’s booming construction sector, but don’t know how to get started? Have you heard about the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit project and considered getting involved? The Construction Connections initiative may be for you!
About the Program
Construction Connections is a joint initiative of Toronto Employment & Social Services (TESS) and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) to connect job seekers to employment in the construction trades. The initiative supports Ontario’s Community Benefits Agreement, which brings together local government agencies, businesses and communities to help disadvantaged individuals obtain construction jobs on the Eglinton Crosstown L.R.T. corridor.
The overall objective of Construction Connections is to link job seekers to training and apprenticeship jobs in construction trades!
The Career Foundation is inviting YMCA Greater Toronto to facilitate a Construction Connections Information Session:
